Purchased a 1977 MGB in December, planning to start the engine this weekend. I have thoroughly gone through the engine since it has not run since 1990. The car itself is in pretty good condition and it appeared as I was going through the engine everything was pretty good with the exception of the distributor and the fuel pump. Bench tested both of these and could not get either to work. So, ordered the new parts and should be ready to start her up. I am located on Cape Cod, MA if you are in the area I would love to find some local clubs to go driving with. Thanks!

Welcome Sail.

There are a number from MA members here, though I don't know how many are near the Cape.

Jump over to the MG section of British Car Forum when you get a chance and check out the various discussion threads.

I am starting to go over a nice,'69 MGB street-toy that I just bought, so I am pretty much in the same boat as you.

And if you have any pictures of your car, post them!

Welcome to MGdom - jump over to the MG Forum & let's talk...we love the Cape; heck, our daughter was married in Newport!

Welcome from the coast of NC. You are on a great forum.
I have to mention that after enjoying my two LBCs I sail a Marshall Catboat, a Sanderling. Built in your back yard.
