Hello members: I live near the flat lands of Kansas in a town called Shawnee near Kansas City. The car I will be working on is a '70 E-type roadster and will be attempting to bring back to life. I am retired and my two sons I will be using outside help as well as our own strong backs to accomplish this task with the help of the forum.

Welcome Don, I spent about 3 years in Knobnoster 40 plus years ago, Kansas City area was the only civilized place to go back then. Got hooked on SP250's flagging SCCA National at Lake Garnett KS, they ran a road race around the perimeter of the lake, with a really narrow bridge at one end of the course. Ahhh, those were the days. Are there any vintage races at all near you??

Welcome - I stop through Shawnee from time to time...

Hi Don,
I have only driven through Kansas once, when driving our son and his Explorer from PA to Colorado to attend school. Hopefully I will get back there to see more than a race through in the future.
A hearty welcome to you and your E-type to the best forum on the 'net.

Enjoy the Ride.

Don - welcome to BCF. Absolutely the best source of expertise in the universe.

Some of my best memories of driving were back in the 1970s driving past the endless yellow fields of Kansas wheat and corn. What a view!

Good to have you with us.

Tom
