What a great place to learn about British cars!
My wife owns a 1976SJ6C..and since I know very little
about it I thought this would be the place to start my education.Regards to all Seabie.

seabie...WELCOME...but if nothing else I'm known around here for being genuine...I have no idea what a SJ6C or as Tony mentioned a CJ6C is..I presume a model of Jaguar for that year...would love to see a pic!!!

Welcome to the BCF. I was just about to do that. Similar to my 73. I thought they did away with chrome in 74ish?
