Hi all; I just became a member of the forum and this is my first posting. Live in Southern California and own three british cars. My first is a 74 1/2 TR6 which I'm converting to an origional PI set-up. Need left hand drive pedal number 148951 or 159877. Any help before I start welding pieces onto my carb. pedal? I also have a 58 Austin-Healey 100/6 car and a very rare 71 series III XKE. Hope to hear back about the pedal. I like original components in my projects. Thanks, tri6.

Welcome to the forum. At one point Rimmer Bros. in England was carrying that part for the PI TR6's that were sold on the continent. You might try there first.

I've already checked all the usual suspects including Moss, Rimmer, Revington, and Quiller. TRTrader said they were extremely rare. I might have to weld a bar onto the original pedal to attach the accelerator cable to. But if anyone has an original component, keep me in mind> Thanks. TRI6

If you have a pic or drawing of the original pedal A competent welder can rebuild your old pedal to near perfect, {so near no one except a professional TR guru could tell, and maby NOT even then}
P.S. Welcome to the Forum.

tri6,

Welcome to the forum. I apologize for not getting to you sooner, but I almost missed this post completely. Glad to have you aboard!

If you can't find a pedal, there is a guy in MA parting out some TR6's and he may have what you need, if it is the same a regular pedal. I don't know if what you need is special for PI.

PM me if you need his email.

Regards and don't be a stranger.....

welcome. Is there a difference in the pedal from LHD to RHD?
I can take a pic of mine, but it's RHD.
If there is no difference I could look around for a second hand one as most of the 6's here are PI models.
Regards
Craig
