Just wanted to say Howdy. I have been looking around your forum for a couple of hours and decided to join in. I currently have a 58 TR3 in the garage in pieces. I strated what was to be a 1 year frame off resto last December on a 3 I have had since the 80's, then in January, my wife had some great news. Now I am working on the car in between my 4 month old son's naps.

So things have gone a bit slower than anticipated. I am just now putting in the new innner sills and new floors. Soon to remove the body tub for blasting. I'll have plenty of questions along the way...

Yep - congratulations on the '58 AND the '05. You'll find plenty of advice for the former, and probably some for the latter as well.

Welcome to the forum. Photos of projects are always welcome, I know I never tire of looking at TR3s in any state of repair or restoration.

Nice to see you here Greg. Please drop by often. This is the best LBC forum on the net as you will soon see for yourself.

Welcome aboard! I'm sure you'll find that this is a very informative and helpful group. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Welcome and best of luck with the restoration-- I certainly understand the statement, "its taken longer than I thought"

Welcome Greg! This forum gets addicting. Thanks for the introduction. I've been on here for a year now and never did an introduction. Should take the time to do it. Just reading your posting about working in between your sons naps brought back memories. Purchased my First TR project in 1976. A TR3A. Thought maybe a 3 year project max. Well, I got married in 2 years, bought a house. 2 more years a son arrived. Priorities. Turned out to be a 7 year project. I remember going out to work on it and he had to be out there with me sticking screwdrivers in holes and pretending to be working. He's 25 now and we both raced it at the Roadster Factory's Summer Party last year. Fun memories. Keep plugging away and work on it at your pace and you'll to do a better job. Take lots of pictures too. Good luck. Larry

Welcome to the forum!
By spring, when the weather is warmer, the youngster should be old enough to help out in the garage!
Got to start them early to develop the right habits...Simon.
