I’m Skip, new member living in Davidson NC. I own a 1960 MGA and a 1963 Austin Healey 3000. The “A” is restored I finished it about10 years ago. I don’t drive it a lot, just 2500miles on it since the rebuild. It’s pretty much original.

The Healey is 95% done. Engine is done and installed. Rear shroud and fenders are installed. Front shroud and fenders are finished. We’ll put these on in the next week or so. The Healey has a few “mods” that I hope will improve the driving experience:
  • Toyota five speed kit (I have the original 4 speed/OD transmission as well)
  • Gear reduction starter (have original rebuilt unit too)
  • Alternator, looks like original generator
  • Headlight relay kit
  • A lot of extra insulation (dynamat type from Eastwood) in the cockpit and on top of the shroud

Below are a couple of pictures.
