So glad to be a part of this Club. As many of you have said, I too am a person who's first car was a 1959 Bugeye. While still a student I moved on to Austin Mini Coopers. Around 1986 we found another 1960 Bugeye in pretty bad shape. After several years moving from house to house, and ignoring it, my grandson came to me and asked if we could restore it. I am sure I will find some helpful information to help restore it.

You will find a lot of help and advice in the Spridgets section of the forum. The Sprites and MG Midgets are in the same area because they share a lot of components.

Update on the bugeye:
Engine, trans, rear end, suspension out of car. Rebuilt rack and pinion. Currently cutting out "fiberglass" floor. Found a rag in the gas tank, decided to go with a new tank. Like to share some pictures.
