The first car I ever owned was a 1960 TR3a which I purchased when I was 16 in 1972. We moved from sunny California to Washington state so I sold the 3 and bought a GT6, which I drove for 4 years. In 1990 I decided I really wanted another TR3 project car that I could refurbish. It took 10 years to complete a frame off restoration and I have enjoyed the car immensely. The car is now with us in Arizona and I am in the process of doing small upgrades along with required maintenance.

Hello Resmprice

Welcome to the forum

You sold your TR3A about the same time I sold my first TR2 in the early 1970s

You will find the Triumph section very active and you are sure to get plenty of tips, help and advice there for your TR3.

Post some photos of the TR3.
