Well my wife finally made me get on here. Not really.I see her on here every night an decided to join her.It looks like she really enjoys herself on here.So Im going to see what all the excitment is about. In case you didnt know my wife is Terri from Arkansas. We have right now 2 MGBs.One is a 1980 model with alot of rust in the flor pans.As of now we are taking it apart for the 1979 we just bought od Ebay. The body on the 1979 is perfect so thats why the switch. If you must know Terri does as much work on the car as I do.Including the heavy lifting. She is truely amazing as far as cars goes.I guess thats why I married her 22 years ago.As far as our projects they are a work in progress an a fun hobby for us as our kids grow away from us.It has been a lot of fun for us.An I hope we will get a few more to work on .Im sure we will.

Hi There Terri & davwphill,

"Welcome" to the Wonderful World of the "BCF" (As You already know).

I used to work for a Co. based in "Rogers, Arkansas" intially called "Wendt-Sonis". Then purchased by "TRW Carbide". Now, I believe, Its called "RTW Carbide".

I did some real nice boating, fishing & Beer Drinking on "Beaver Lake".

Is "Rogers" still a "Dry County"? Seems kind of impossible but True when I was there (Late 70s - Early 80s).

Best Wishes with the MG.

Russ

Yes Rogers is still a dry county. Some things never change. My son goes to the U of A up there.Thats how I knew it was dry as a bone.I have had a few beer up there myself. Thanks for the welcome.
