I'm rebuilding a pair of HD8 carbs and the everything moves freely in the chamber until securing the air horn. Raise it up 1/4 inch and piston drops properly almost like a vacuum issue, but the piston has 2 vent holes in the bottom. Any ideas?
Welcome to the forum! The "New Members Introductions" forum is just for initial introductions (tell us about yourself). Since you're posting a specific technical question, and you have an Austin Healey, I'm moving this post to our Austin Healey forum. (You can make another post in the New Member Introductions forum to introduce yourself. We don't ask for much info - just tell us a bit about yourself, your car - give us your bank account and credit card info - you know, just the basics. (PS If you're reading this now, you are in the Austin Healey forum)
