Hello, My name is Greg and I own a 1978 MGB which I acquired in the early 1990s. I would like to post a question about converting an aftermarket electronic ignition system to just an electronic distributor. The question will be forthcoming when I am sure where to post it.
Thanks

Hi Greg - welcome to BCF.

You'll probably find good ideas by asking in the MG area:

Electronic ignition systems are always a fun topic. Many guys give up on them, and go back to traditional points systems.

as a 1978 it should have an electronic ignition from the factory. Oh and welcome!

Welcome aboard! As has been already mention, post any MG-specific questions in our MG forum

Drove this sweetheart since mid 90s without any electrical issues. It has since quit running twice. No power to the plugs. I removed the distributor and Lumenition. The old distributor had three wires with one running from the tachometer to the lumenition. The replacement distributor I’m installing only has two wires. I cannot figure out how to wire new one. The old one had an amplifier attached. H
