hey everyone. my name is tim and i have a 1963 tr4 which my grandfather gave me back when i was 8. well being that im 24 now.... i think its time i finally get this restoration under way. the car has been on the back burner for a while. it was dissasembled about two years ago and due to lack of space at my dads shop and the amount of rust on the car ive been putting it off for a while. well over the past few weeks just imagining what the car can be when its done has really changed my focus on the car. so currently ive been shopping around for inner fender wells for all four corners. as youll tell by looking at pics it needs them in the worst way. i look forward to chatting with you all and any advice givin is greatly appreciated.

Let me be the 1st. to "Welcome" You & Your "New/Old" TR4 to "THEE" best, most informative & friendly LBC (Little British Car) site you`ll come across.
I used to live in "Clifton, NJ" (About 100yrs ago). Kept moving West ultimately into PA & now in NW SC. Man, I sure don`t miss the weather in the Northeast!!
Introduce Yourself & Your TR to the "Triumph" Forum & ask any questions you may have. You will certainly get help in all aspects of the restoration.

that 63 is much nicer than the 63 I started with. The rust can be dealt with - I used a mig welder, tin snips and a little imagination And when that did not help a frosty beverage to think upon. Not being a pro, by any means, I didn't cut out huge areas of rust. I made small repairs and removed as little material as possible.
Well - that was a good 15 years ago - The 63 is still with me - I haven't had any rust come back or through, and it runs like a champ. Stick with it- the small investment in time will pay off with a lifelong companion and maker of adventures.....
