Hi. Just bought a 1935 Morris Eight Tourer and looking out for a forum of enthusiasts. Looks like this is (mainly?) US followers? I'm guessing the Americans love of LBCs didn't really kick off till after the war. A 1935 Morris 8 is very twee compared with American motors of the same era. If nothing else, hope you enjoy the photos while imagining the Brits typical motoring in the 1930's. I'd be interested to find out if any 'Eights got exported to the States.

Other classics are a 1960 MGA and 1972 MG Midget. I know there are loads of MGA's and Midgets.

I’m also a Morris Minor Traveller owner, but my ‘59 isn’t much to look at yet. (like Tom’s car is!)

There is the Morris Register in the UK for pre-1940 Morris vehicles,

One of my brothers lives near Portland in Oregon and he has a 1937 Morris 8 Tourer. They are rare in the US.
I don’t know much history, only that the car was in Arizona for some time before he acquired it.
It is a fairly complete project but needs a wood kit (if there is such a thing available that anyone knows of? ) to support the bodywork.

I just sold my 1936 Morris 8 Tourer to a guy in Paradise, CA. While it was fun to drive, I did not fit well in the car. The pedals were not made for size 13 Wide shoes.
