I live in Lancaster, CA, LA County, I am retired 20 years ago. I have a 1971 MGB Roadster, bought it slightly used in 1975, has about 90,000 miles and I had to rebuild the about 25 years ago.
I presently have a fuel pump failure, my 3rd, and trying to figure out a "work-around".

Welcome As the gas tank is so low to the motor elect is about it. Summit Racing may have better than OEM. What is the time frame that you lost your pumps?? How much do you drive your car. If you do limited driving try SEA FOAM ( any auto parts ) . What is failing the pump motor or pump it's self. Most all fuel pumps can not suck only push fuel so clean tank good fuel lines and fuel filter. Where did you get replacements from. Your problem could be just be be in old rubber fuel lines. Bad electric connections at pump may also add to motor failure. Madflyer

Welcome to the forum.
The MG section may have some answers for you on the fuel pump.

You may want to add a fuel filter between the tank and the pump to catch junk before it geta to the pump.
