Hi,
I've just joined, hoping to get more info etc on my Dad's Daimler SP250 'Dart.' It is very rare, as it has he 4.5 L V8 from the Majestic Major in it. I has some strange, but good things about it: It was first registered in 1982, but also hadn't been registered overseas (i'm in New Zealand), and so has only had two owners and just over 50,000 K's on the clock. It is in need of a resto, which we are going to do slowly. I also own Two Mini's, one which we are making into a race/rally car.
Cheers!

Hi There LTW,

I just wanted to wish you a warm "WELCOME" from our group of LBC Lovers.

Enjoy the ride here.

Welcome to the Forum! :savewave:

Welcome! I should be racing against one this weekend. It should be somewhere ~Here~

Oh wow that page is just a mass of awesome cars. Especially the Moke and the Dart! But I think Darts look ridiculous with the rollbar...

Nial, thanks a bunch for posting those photos! What a great display! My favorite car is in there, the Allard. If I had half a mil I'd buy one. But then I'd have to put it in a glass case as I wouldn't want to get dust on it. :jester:

Did I see Formula Jr's in there? I didn't know they were still racing them, or is it like old timers day their run? PJ

Nice Nial! The #63 SP is Joe Dockman's, a (sort of) neighbor. And I see Michaels Elva was there, too.

The red Allard was at the TRAC Brits-by-the-bay show either 2 or 3 years ago, really nice car.

Wonder if we find a 4th SP owner to join BCF we would get our own forum??

We could! Haha. And New Zealand has a strong Dart following, so maybe we could get all them to join... We may need to teach some on how to use a computer first, however.

Welcome to th' Forum!

I've a mate down on th' southern island, he's become a naturalised kiwi now by my reckonin'. I don't think he'd be a 250 enthusiast tho.

Welcome aboard LTW,
I am not sure how my car has been listed in the past so i just updated snd added SP250. It's a maroon '62 B spec that i drive daily providing it's not snowing too heavily. Have we got 4 cars now?

If you email me serial number and body number etc I may be able to tell you more about your car or maybe not... if you are interested let me know. Alan
