Hi All
quick intro, got a 72 MGB Roadster 1860 Stage 2.
new project started last week is restoration of a Bermuda Top.....just like marmite , you either love em or hate em.
I am doing some research, there seems to be 2 types of top, one with rear ventilation and different clamps and non tinted Perspex, any information appreciated, also as to the nameplate on the roof just over the windscreen.
Many Thanks
nigeld

Welcome, Nigel!

I've never seen a Bermuda top "in person", but several photos, so can't help. However, post your question on the MG side of the forum, and I'd imagine you'll get some responses.

Be sure to post some pictures as well.

Hi Nigel,

Thanx for posting a pic of the top. Its basically what I thought; A "Surrey or T-Top" type of top.

Do you have a patent on this? If not; Perhaps you should! MG folks just may have an int. in this???

Regards, Russ

Hi Russ,

No patent and there are a few about, though condition of many can be poor.
i was lucky buying this of eBay and being in above average condition for a 1960's top.
Have found perspex fabricator for rear and side windows and can work from the originals, and include a tint for roof windows and reckons to be ready within a week...mmmm! Fingers crossed so watch this space!

Best wishes
nigeld
