Hello Everyone, I'm Richard. Short and sweet. No there is more. I was stationed in England and bought my first TR6 (1969) and brought it back to the states with me. I bought a new 1976 and sold the 1969 (that is 2). Traded it in for a jeep because I was being stationed in Alaska (Fairbanks) and the ragtop would not have made it plus in -60F I would have froze my behind off. I bought another 1976 in 2004 and planned on restoring it. Life happened and I decided at my age to just buy another one and sell the parts to pay for the next 1976 I bought (now 4). Most of the parts have sold but I have a few others if anyone is interested I will let you know what I have. The reason I joined the forum is I'm having wiring problems with my car and we discovered last night that they rigged stuff that is not right and put 30amp fuses in to cover what they did. I have melted wires and my cousin and I have decided the best way to get it right is to put in new wiring harness' which I have. I have a book for working on the car but the wiring diagrams are not usable to determine color of wires etc. I'm hoping to find that on BCF. If not, no worries, we will keep moving on. By the way, I hate it when people cob stuff together and don't do it right. So, this is my fourth and last TR6. I love these cars. They are my favorite car of all time to drive. This one is in pretty good shape. I will get it painted and except for the electrical problem is really good. I drove it back from Miami when I bought it. I have that much trust in these cars. Anyone have any thoughts etc, please let me know. I do sell some of the parts on ebay. Probably shouldn't do this here but will this once. My wife bought me a solid walnut dash for my car. Unfortunately, she bought a dash for a right hand drive, not a left so I can't put it in my car. Anyone interested in it, please let me know. Hi Everyone, and thanks for having me. Richard
