Hi All,

We have a 1969 MGB that we're currently prepping for a paint job. Over the summer, replaced; carbs, fuel tank, master cylinder, brake lines, wheel cylinders, distributor.

Learning a lot and always looking to learn more.

My wife is doing a lot of the work and really enjoys it. She;s still a British subject, but I don't hold that against her! When we were first married, I had a brand new, 1970 MG Midget. Kept it until kids came along.

Hope to contribute here where I can and most of all learn.

Thanks,
Bill

Welcome, Bill - photos are mandatory...hehehe...come on over to the MGB Forum

Welcome to the forum, Bill. We look forward to pix. Keep warm "up there".

Welcome Bill
I don't have any local Daimler club, so joined the DVCMG club and have had some really good times with that group. Plenty of B's in the club, check out the website -https://www.dvcmg.com-
Maybe we'll meet on a PA road somewhere.

Welcome Bill!

I also have a recently-bought '69 MGB plus the race Spridget below (and some other stuff).

Yes, please show pictures...we always enjoy them no matter what phase of the project you are on.

You may wish to consider getting to MG2008 since it's not too far from you. Even if your car's not done, it may be fun to come, hang out and get ideas from other's cars. I'm hoping to make it there with the MGB. I think others from here will be attending too.

Welcome, Bill!

Hey Bill, welcome to the group. And a hearty welcome to your other half as well, seeing as she's from the same neck of the woods as me. Where in the UK? There are several other Brits who inhabit these boards too.

Hi There Bill;

"Welcome" for the Pocono Mtns of PA; The new gaming capitol in the NE. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/pukeface.gif

I feel thats pretty impressive that your "Better Half" has a "Hands-On" interest in LBCs (Little British Cars). /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

You may want to check out this club that I belong to. Its only a stones throw from Phil. https://www.bcclv.com (British Car Club of Lehigh Valley): /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif

As mentioned; Please post pics and check out the MG section.

Hi, welcome to the forum!!

Welcome Bill,

The first show I ever participated in was the Britfest just up the line from Philly, hosted by the local MG club. Hopefully you and the Mrs. will be coming there this June to show off your machine.

You definitely have found the best forum on the 'net. Enjoy the Ride.

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone!

If I could figure out how to post some pics, I would. Have a bunch of our project going.

Hi There smirkinwill,

I, by no means, am a expert /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazyeyes.gif at posting pics here but,

Try this: Click on reply / Click on File Manager / Click on browse / follow prompts from there. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/confused.gif

If all else fails; Contact the Boss "Basil" and he would be more than happy to help! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/computer.gif

Perhaps thats the better idea of the two options above!

Have Fun,

Regards, Russ /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif
