Hello All - Forty years ago, when I was in college, I bought a Triumph TR4 because it was cheap and I could work on it with a crescent wrench. I've owned British cars on and off since then, but just bought my first Austin Healey - a beautifully restored '66 BJ8. It had sat in a garage for the preceding three years, so it's taken a few months to sort out the kinks, but we're having a great time this summer driving around the SF Bay Area (including Carmel this coming week for Auto Week, where we really should organize a good British car show). I'm looking forward to seeing members on (or by the side of) the road!

Welcome to the BCF Kim! I hope that you're in contact with the Golden Gate Austin-Healey Club - that's the Austin-Healey Club of America's chapter in your area. They are an active, well-organized group that I think you'd really enjoy. They are also hosting the "Austin-Healey Rendezvous" in Monterey next year in September. Check it out, and again, welcome!
