Hey guys, I have been a member on the site here absorbing much of your knowledge and insights into Triumph cars. I have "accidentally" purchased '73 TR6 from John Gambacorta in October last year at an auction and doing a frame off full restoration. Then a few weeks ago I got a '69 TR6 from Steven Hale and plan on doing that one as soon as I am done with the first. Lots of fun to work on these cars, learning all tricks, and hopefully will actually drive one in a few weeks. The '73 will have some modern updates and my choice of color, while the '69 will be restored to its original everything. My dad and brother-in-law have helped for the past few months on the car and we are almost done with priming the body. Chassis was completely stripped, blasted, re-inforced, and painted. Engine completely re-built, trans was in good shape so we left it alone. Body had some major rust issues (no longer), and the interior is being done by my in-law and sister. Hope to have a fun car for the summer.
