I found this forum while googling Tony Barnhill.Undoubtedly,I have missed the opportunity to meet a very knowledgable auto enthusist even though he lived just a short distance away.I have only the utmost respect for anyone with the knowledge and patience to restore any automotive venue. My automotive intrest is mostly in barnfinds(original unrestored drivers)but I'm always looking for anything unique or unusual.I'm 59 years old and have owned everything from XKE'S to 435hp Vettes.I have owned an autoparts business and an import repair shop and have a good general knowledge of all brands. Thanks for allowing me to join your forum.David Bull(dbull)

Welcome to the Forum, David! :savewave:

I "crossed over" into my 60's a couple months ago, it ain't much diff'rent on this side.

Stick with us, we're generally a gregarious bunch. If you find yourself in posession of an LBC and need yer memory jogged about some detail, someone in here will surely be able and willing to help.

Hi, David -

I'm in Clarksville; went to seminary in Sewanee, so I know a bit about your fair town. Is Hammer's still open? Regular resource for us back then!

Oh, and I "crossed over" a few months before my long-lost twin. He's right: 60 ain't no thing!

Mum had a somewhat "protracted" pregnancy. :smirk: :jester:

Yep,Hammers is still going strong.I live across the street from Earl Hammer and although he's getting up in the years,he's still there everday. The town square has been totally revamped in the past two years with all of the storefronts being done in a nostalgic style.Sewannee is still beautiful.I used to hang at Shenanigans back when Todd & Katherine Kaderbeck ran it.I owned and operated The Bullpen Market and Southern Performance in Cowan. Thanks for the welcomes!DBULL
