HI, I JUST CAME ACROSS THIS SITE & JOINED UP. I LIVE IN HILLSBORO OREGON & OWN 4 TRIUMPHS. 70 & 73 GT6, 76 TR6, & A
80 SPITFIRE. I AM RESTORING MY 73 GT6 & SAW ON THIS SITE A GUY THAT DOES AN AWSOME JOB ON THE WOODEN DASH PANELS. I WOULD
LIKE A CONTACT EMAIL ADDRESS SO I CAN HAVE MINE DONE.

REGARDS STARFALL.

Welcome, Steve, or Starfall.

Welcome Steve! Just a couple small things. First, I removed your email address from your post. Why? Because when you post your email address in a public forum, the spammers WILL get it and you will suddenly find yourself inundated with SPAM emails. if you must post your email address, just type it in directly rather than using the "Email" icon
email.gif
. When you type it in directly, I have modified the forum software to change the "at" sign to a small .gif of an "at" sign so the spam-bots won't recognized it as an email address, but humans will. Like this: john doe@somewhereovertherainbow.com Better to ask people to contact you via Private Message here rather than positing your email publicly.

Secondly, you might want to post your question about the wood panels in the Triumph forum as Nial suggested (but don't use all caps as that is considered SHOUTING! )

Cheers and welcome aboard!

Now that our esteemed leader has welcomed you to the forum, :savewave: Welcome! This forum is a wealth of information and trivia that no one cares about. Just kidding, about the trivia that is. Glad you found us.

Hello,

My name is Lindsay Maine. I'm located in Southern California.
Glad to be onboard.
I inherited my dad's 1963 BJ7 four years ago. Man what a fun car.
Very thankful to my local Healey club for providing endless information. Still a lot to learn.
At least now i know why my dad always cussed while in the garage.
Thanks for the invite.

So welcome to the Forum to both of you! :savewave:

A run of the mill dig camera produces an image with a file size of usually several megabytes! You need to use a photo editing software to re-size the image so that the FILE SIZE is much smaller (say 100k or less). If people posted pictures that were very large in file size, it would take very long to load posts, especially for people with slower internet connections.

Also, you don't have to "attach" a picture to your post directly. Another method is to host your picture on some other file sharing server (like Flicker) and either post a link to the site or you use UBB Code to reference the picture is a post. Look in the "Forum Help" forum and see the video tutorials for posting pictures.

And welcome to the forum!
