Hello, my name is Rick and I live in Tennessee. Since the mid 90’s I have owned a variety of Mercedes Benz, but my years were focused on British Leyland automobiles.

I appreciate for the nice reception to the club. I joined the group as I finally have made some time to work on the 1968 Triumph TR250 I purchased in February. The plan is to rebuild the front & rear suspensions with a lot of detailing on the individual components. I have strayed from the brand as I had a ‘58 TR3 in high school, a overly restored GT6 in college and a Jasmine yellow ‘69 TR6 just before I got married and that doesn’t count the ‘69 MGB in between. I have since focused on Mercedes Benz (‘69 300 SEL 6,3, ‘00 SL600 & ‘02 E55 AMG), but I’ve always wanted a TR250. It’s a bucket list car and when I saw this one in Jasmine yellow I took the plunge.

I will try to post some pics as I progress through the project. I can’t tell you how nostalgic and fun it’s been to dive back into British engineering and putting my standard tools back into use. These cars have always been a blast and I look forward to bringing the underside of this vehicle to the standard of the exterior!

Welcome!
TR250's are really cool cars.I saw one years ago,but the owner
wouldn't sell it to me.
I found knew of one (same color as yours) that the owner
had painted, but needed to be finished up,for $5000.I always kept
it to myself,thinking I'd buy it someday.When I realized that I'd never
do that,I put it out there,& a guy in the Sacramento area came up and
bought it.Sadly,he hasn't contacted me since to update me on it's progress.
I sure hope he didn't flip it.
