Hello world! I've had a few British cars since I bought my new TR7 in 1975. Couldn't afford the TR6! Two in my collection of cars now, a (real)Mini and Midget. A friend from the Mini Mania website directed me your way. The warm weather has finally ended here and all the cars are tucked away. Looks like a great place to pass the winter months! Thanks for having me!

Welcome to the BCF! You are certainly in the right place, and we are good at helping to relieve the looooong winter months. Thinking about fitting a turbocharger to the old smowblower here....... Wonder if it's ever been done?

Welcome aboard Britcars!

Hey Steve, haven't heard of that, but people have done turbo lawnmowers.

Hi There Britcars,

"Welcome" to the "BCF". The "ONE" and "ONLY" place to be while the winter months go by (Hopefully real fast)!

I reside in the Pocono Mtn Area. You`ll find quite a few "Pennsyltuckians" here.

Where in PA are you located?

Have Fun Here,

Russ

Hi Russ,
I spent 10 years of my life 2 weeks a month up around where you live. I'm a health inspector and inspect dairy farms. Had a few in Moscow and south of Honesdale, Scranton and Waymart. I don't miss winters at all especially up there! Only fun I did have there was staying at the Shadowbrook in Tunhannock and playing golf. I miss the chicken speedies too! I live about 20 mins. north of Pittsburgh, Pa.

Hi There Britcar,

What I can tell you about the winters here is; Its been "Milder & Milder" as ea. yr. passes!

The Ski Resorts have been "Hurtin for Certain". If this yr. will be similar to the past 3 yrs. (I hope it will be); They`ll turn all the Ski areas into "Water Parks". They actually have started that at "Camelback" which is one of the largest Ski areas here.

I can`t imagine north of P`Burg being much better but from your saying; I guess it is??

Regards,

Russ

Hi, and welcome to the Forum. LBCs and golf! Great combination, a lot of us have the same vices, oops, interests!

Hey welcome to the forum, and thank your friend for the referral from us.

YAY! Welcome to th' fray, Britcars!

20 minutes north of 'dah burgh... hmm... Herself an' I left Sewickley back in the late '70's. Ya gotta be close! :jester:

There are a number of western PA guys hangin' around in here, BTW.

Hey BritcarsUSA. Retired Sanitarian here. 30 years with the State of Louisiana. I have some friends in the Dairy Division who tell me things can get kind of tense with the haulers and salters.
Hope you come to like this place as much as I do.
