I have been restoring MG's since the mid 80's, the last MG I restored was an 1962 MGA MKII Deluxe, I sold that car back in 2003 and have been looking forward to restoring another British classic. My father had a 1966 AH300 BJ8 when I was really young and I have always wanted to attempt to restore a Healey.
I was lucky enough to find a 62 3000 tri carb located not to far from my house and have already started the resto. I am hoping this sight will provide some tricks of the trade to restoring a Healey.

Found the forum by Googling Austin Healey 3000...the forum came up. I look forward to using the forum in future. The Healey seems like it may present some new challenges.
