Hi All! My name is Kena and my husband is Danny. We live in SoCal with our toddler and 2 Mini Schnauzers. We own a 1963 Austin Healey BJ7 named Ruthless(by our nephew), that was converted to a V8 as well as the shock conversion designed by Greg Greathouse. Danny has owned this car for a very long time. We also have a '69 Cutlass convertible and a '67 Camaro. Currently we are trying to get Ruthless back to a comfortable (and level) ride. We are taking the rear springs in to get fixed and we need new rear shocks. We are unsure what our long term plans are...it may include a LS swap. I've included pics of our Healey. I'm here in search of replacement rear shocks...I'll make a proper post about it once I've done a search.

Welcome Kena (and Danny). Wow! I mean, WOW. That's not your grandfather's Healey! What exactly is the engine in that beast? Looks like it has a blower too.

You’re right- it’s definitely not! It’s a small block Chevy 8.2:1 compression, Edelbrock victor jr heads, Weiand 177 blower running about 11lbs and MSD atomic efi. Has a full race power glide and a 12 bolt with 3:73 gears. It’s fast and fun! 🤩

great car! (I presume they are called Nasty Boys there as well?) thanks for sharing and welcome!
