I have a history with MGs dating back to 1980 when my folks bought their first MGB…a slightly scruffy looking, but smooth running 1965 B. After that car, my family acquired 2 1973 MGBs, and I was lucky enough that one of those beauties became my first car.
Fast forward a few decades, and I’ve now returned to the MG family. I just recently bought an absolutely gorgeous 1973 MGB GT with only 35,000 miles on it. The previous owner had owned it since 1978, and had been a meticulous caretaker if it. (He kept it absolutely original, but I’ve got some tweaks in mind for it to improve the driving experience.)
I also have a 1964 Triumph Spit6 and a 1994 Rover Mini. (And a very patient girlfriend who tolerates this foolishness.)
Looking forward to reading up on others’ projects!
