New member and recently new owner of a 1977 MGB. Pretty decent shape mechanically and cosmetically, just needs a little TLC. Already changed the plugs, distributor cap, and rotor, and working towards refreshing the fluids next weekend. After that, we plan on tackling a little interior refresh.

My wife and I had both wanted an MG since we were kids, and finally in a position that we could start looking and found this one nearby at a fairly reasonable cost. It will likely be 'her car' more than mine, but I enjoy tinkering and hoping she'll let me take it out occasionally. I will admit, driving it almost an hour home, she smiled the whole way! Happy wife, happy life.

Hello Thuxedo1

Welcome to the forum

Great looking MGB.

I am sure you will get plenty of help, tips and advice in the MG section of the forum.

The Pub is a section where a wide range of topics come up for discussion.

Hi there Tux (or what do we call you?). I grew up in the little town of Bridgeport West Virginia. I recognize the town of Raymore because my best friend, Mike Gregg, and family had moved to Bridgeport from Raymore, MO. His father, Roy, worked for the Post Office. His younger sister, Leanne Gregg, grew up to become a News Anchor for one of the stations in Springfield, MO and later moved to Denver where she still does field reporting for MSNBC I think. Anyway, welcome to BCF - we have a pretty active MG forum here and you will fit right in!

Cheers!
Basil
