Hi all, I thought I would write just a little bit here.
Born and bred in Bonnie Scotland, TR6’s were a fairly regular site on the roads in summertime, once at driving age through the years, I had picked up a couple of MK4 Spitfires and a GT6 but always hankering after the elusive TR6, anyways now moved to Canada and would you believe, a fairly decent one came up for sale about 5kms away from my front door.
It’s far from perfect and I’ve rebuilt the carbs, changed to a spin on oil filter with the adaptor, refreshed fronot Bushes, springs and shocks and fitted new carpets and had the seats recovered, all in all I’m chuffed to bits and it’s out every time the suns out over here. It drives great although would love a 5th gear for short highway stints. It just gives smiles per miles every time I look at her and drive her
