Hello, my name is Peter, and I am from the Netherlands, I have been lurking on this forum for many years.
I own a 1974 Triumph TR6 since the mid 1990's, the car was first sold in California, and re-imported to Europe in the 1990's.
The bodywork was in a reasonable state, but was mechanically neglected, the restoration took me about 3 years,
Not my first british car, I started at the age of 21 (I am 65 now) with a Morris 1100, and my wife owned a Mini (classic) to drive forward and back to work.
The Triumph shares the garage with four classic motorcycles, 3 (3 British, 1 Italian)
I much enjoy my British machines.

Welcome Peter, Even though I'm an MG nut, I always had a desire to own a TR-6. A buddy of mine had one many years ago and it was my first introduction to British cars. As I remember, it had a super ride and was very quick. Love the color of yours, very pretty! The wife's family originated in Holland. Family name, VanOrder. :encouragement: PJ

Thanks for the nice welcome, I post another pic of a British car that I sold some time ago, A Jensen Healey, also brougt back to this side of the pond from California .
The car actually belonged to my wife Liz, but was not driven very often so we decided that it was better to find a new owner for this LBC.
