Hello all! I have been lurking here for a little bit and figured it was time to make an account. First, a little about me: I am 29 years old, married, and have always loved cars. I am not an expert with autos but have enjoyed learning what I can over the years and I'm a big advocate of DIY. I work a white collar job as a clinical case manager, but on the evenings and weekends I love to take on projects in the garage, around the house, and on our family's beef-cattle farm. We own a few vehicles, as seen in my signature, but the one that is the reason for wanting to be a part of this community is our 1973 Triumph TR6. My dad has always loved LBCs and had many over the years, including the current '73 TR6 which is in the midst of a restoration. My limited knowledge is more on American V8's due to some work I have done to my Trans Am, but I want a larger array of knowledge and to start making progress on the Triumph we own. I'll create a thread over on the Triumph board with pics of our TR6, where we are at, at I assure you that I will have plenty of questions for the community!

Hi Dave,

"Welcome" to "THEE" best LBC Forum anywhere!!

Your already on the right track of restoring your TR6 by joining the Triumph Group. There are a ton of folks there who are more than capable in answering whatever questions you may have in your quest.

Happy Motoring,

Russ

Welcome aboard. These guys have been nothing but helpful to me and I'm new to the forums myself. I'm sure you will get the same response I have with my MG. Also, Chicago isn't far from Indy so when you get up and going, it would be time to have a LBC drive.

Hi, and welcome!
