Hi
My name is Roland, and I’m Swiss. Throughout my entire life, I have never owned anything other than British cars. It all started with a Mini 1000, followed by a Morris 1100. Later, I added a Triumph Spitfire 1300 as a summer car. The Morris was replaced by an MGB, and the Spitfire gave way to a Triumph TR4. Due to family needs, a Range Rover Classic replaced all my other vehicles in 1991. In 1998, it was replaced by a Land Rover Defender Tdi 110 County Station Wagon. In 2005, I returned to classic cars by acquiring a Rover P6 3500, followed by a Rover P5 Mk IA in 2010 (which I sold in 2015). After 16 years, the Defender Tdi was replaced by a Td4 model. In 2022, I added a Land Rover Series III (88-inch wheelbase), and six months ago, I picked up a Sunbeam Rapier Fastback from 1969. So, today, in addition to my Land Rover Defender (all day runner), I own and drive the Land Rover Series, the Rover and the Sunbeam. Furthermore, last year, my 24-year-old daughter bought her very first car: a Morris Marina Mk II 1300 Super 🤗.
Against this Background I am pleased to be able to participate in the British Car Forum.

All the best and take care.
Roland

Welcome aboard Roland, happy to have you! How about some pictures of your cars and your beautiful country? We love pictures. PJ(y)

Roland - welcome to BCF! So good to have you here, especially with your experience the Land Rovers!

I sure agree with Paul that you have a beautiful country. For many years I would rent an old house (ca 1470) in Peccia Ticino, for excellent hiking.

Gruezi!
