I am a retired music professor from Mitchell, SD. I have owned Sunbeam Alpines/Tigers since 1966. I presently have a 1967 Series V Alpine with a 5 speed tranny, a 1964 V8 Alpine (Tiger clone)with a mild 302 & C4, and a newly restored 1966 Tiger MK1A that is back on the road after more than 25 years in storage. I belong to the Sunbeam Alpine Owners Club of America - SAOCA - and Tigers East/Alpines East - TEAE. My dad and I built my first car when I was 12 years old. I have been "Car Crazy" ever since. Current projects include modifying the V8 Alpine to use throttle body fuel injection. I am also redoing the interior and wiring on the '67 Alpine. Later this spring I will be restoring a 60's something Triumph Spitfire.
It's a good thing I am retired!

Welcome to ya! We need some more traffic on the Sunbeam side, and it sounds like you're going to add to the party.

Welcome, now I've always wanted to ask this. Do avid Sunbeam owners have a poster of Maxwell Smart on their walls. lol

Hey Mychael,

Thats a great question! Well Autosunbeam; Do you? I think that would be pretty cool.

"Welcome" and show us all some pics of your Collection.

Have a "FUN" Happy New Year here,

Regards,

Russ

Hi all - thanks for all the welcoming comments. I do not have a Maxwell Smart poster on my wall. I do, however, have several James Bond model cars as seen in Dr. No.

Come and join us in Winona, MN over Labor Day weekend, 2011. All Brit cars welcome for a car show, poker run, tech sessions, etc.
