My name is Bobby R. Early this year I had my mid life crisis and decided to do something about it.I went to my local Chevy dealer and bought a 50th anniversary corvette.I really thought I was living! One night during the summer I went to a family party. When I got there ,I was told that my older sister wanted to talk to me and usually that meant trouble. After a couple beers I figured it was time to go get verbally abused.Boy did she surprise me. My dad had passed away three years ago which I knew but what I didn't know was he had left me his car.Because my parent were divorsed I had no idea what type car it was but I was told it would be delivered in a few weeks.Three weeks later I had a 1965 Austin Healey 3000 with 14,000 original miles.Evidently my dad didn't drive it much and story I got was that polishing it seemed to be his hobby.Anyway,my mid life crisis is doing great and I'm having the time of my life with both cars.I would like to thank you guys for putting this forum together.Being a member of this forum for the last couple months has been really great!

Wow! Talk about a rare bird. I'm all for driving the heck out of any car in front of me, but I'd be terrified to drive such an original car around. Take care of it, and enjoy! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Welcome from another NJ person.

I was down in your neck of the woods a few weeks ago (work related). I live in northwest NJ.

And we will be going down to Millville at some point to look at the new race track next to the airport (we already have a race scheduled there in '08).

I spent part of my childhood in Jackson and plenty of the time later on in the Pine Barrens running ECEA motorcycle enduros (in New Gretna, the Warton State Forest and other places down there).

Anyway, great story about the car! Welcome!

Welcome from a nearby neighbor If you need any help we will all come over and I will supply the beer /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
