Hi, I am Victor, new here and have been collecting cars for quite a while. I love British cars, and have a 1965 MGB, 1967 XKE, 1951 XK120 project among a few others. Now I just commited to purchase a 1953 AH BN1 and want to learn on them to do a correct restoration.

welcome! are you buying the cars in Mexico (from Mexico?) what is that process/ market like?
 
I regularly buy them here, yes.... though I have imported one or two. Simple, you find a car you like, check on paperwork to be correct and in order regarding anual payments, pay for it. Then you change ownership if you keep your plates or change the full plates, which is probably better.

thanks! and is there much of a classic car scene/market in Mexico? are prices comperable to the USA?
 
It varies a lot. Some of them are more expensive here (Mustangs, Mercedes, Jaguar...) and some cheaper. Not much of a market for the bigger and older classics.
