Hi all my name is Mike and am a big Brit car fan. I purchased my first car in 1975, my '63 AH Sprite MkII, which made it back to the road this summer after 24 years in the garage. Working on these cars is my passion. I also have a '67 MGB Roadster with OD which is under restoration, it has a donor '67 Roadster to help. I am currently working on my '70 BGT OD car which was going to be a turnover car to help fund the other one but I am now in love with it and it is having an intense go over and hopefully will be road worthy very soon. I also rescued a '79 Midget 1500 from the local junk yard which I restored to very nice safe and reliable original condition which I sold a couple of years ago. I really love talking about cars and learning new things and trying to share some helpful advise.
Happy to be here.

Welcome mk2- you are certainly well immersed in the LBC culture and among like affected souls here.

Drove thru HP on the way to annual Daimler meeting in Saratoga Spr. last summer...we missed the turn for the Northway and crossed the river. Really nice driving country, looked like a sylvan living environment.

Sounds like you will fit right in with this crowd! I started 2 years ago with a 77 Midget and now after driving it have started on an 80 MGB. It seems like these cars just scream, "look we are small, you can find room for one more!" Welcome to the asylum.... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif

Welcome mk2

Always great to have another "easterner" on board.

I have a Spridget (below) and an MGB too.

As already stated, you'll fit right in!

Thanks for the welcome.
That area is very nice driving country, unfortunatly I am from New Hyde Park which is on the Queens border about 20 miles east of NYC. Driving around here is not always that much fun,and is every man for himself with no regard for ANY traffic rules, but there are places close enough to enjoy

Welcome to the forum.
