Hi everyone, my name's Chris, I've been lurking for a bit and just joined the group.
My dad recently handed me the keys to his 1960 Bugeye, Anges. He has trouble keeping her going and decided it's my turn to look after her. The car has been in my family since my he bought her in '62 after he wrecked his first Bugeye.
I haven't had to do much to her, she was running rough so I did a complete tune up and, since the distributor was the problem, added electronic ignition.
While doing the tune up and looking everything over I noticed the wire harness was really brittle so I installed a complete harness from British Wiring.
Other than that she's a pretty original car, dad never upgraded anything only did maintance and replacing things as needed. She was re-painted about 25 years ago, matching Iris Blue as best they could, after someone backed into the bonnet.

Anyway, here's me and Agnes after I got her running right. She hadn't even had a wash yet..

You have yourself a really cool little car there! Just as an aside, my son used to live in Las Vegas so we would get up there periodically - very cool place to live!
