My name is Rich Colwell.
I have had my 1600 MGA since 1983, and have dragged her from Michigan to Pennsylvania, and now to Katy, Tx.
While I miss the hills and water, there is definitely more driving days here.
I restored 95% of my A after a wreck in 1989. She has recently been given a solid going over withL new tires, new brakes, new seats, rebuilt gauges, new electronic ignition, rebuilt carbs, new fuel pump, carpeted boot, new tonneau, new top, and some LED instrument lights.

Aside from all the trouble she has given me, i still like to keep her around.

Sounds like you've got a pretty solid car there. Welcome to the Forum! Post a couple pictures of it when you get a chance.

Welcome Rich!

My first street car (in '67) was an MGA.
I've had about a jillion Brit sports cars since then, but I still love MGAs.

Hi There Rich,

"Welcome" to the Wonderful World of LBCs on the "BCF":

I too had a `58MGA several yrs ago. As we all tend to say; "Sure wish I still had it"!!

Congrats on keeping yours all those yrs.

"HAPPY MOTORING AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS",

Hey Rich:

Welcome to the forum, I used to work on a racer MGA when I was younger.

Very, very beautiful lines, so seductive.

Welcome to the BCF.

Your's is a common refrain... I suspect the trouble is one of the appeals- the staisfaction of being able to deal with it all and have a better car at the end.

Welcome to the show!!!
