Hi all, I have just joined and I am looking for some help with my TR4A that I am restoring. I need to know how the chrome cockpit trim attaches to the cockpit. I bought this car and it was someone elses project that they started about 12 years ago and many parts were lost. It did have one steel bracket attached to the rear cockpit. Are there also side brackets to attach the 2 side pieces of cockpit chrome? Thanks in advance. Any diagrams or pictures would be helpful. I am 90% done with the restoration and putting in the interior next.

Hello, and welcome to the Forum.

This is the place to be on the 'Net!
Post your questions in the Triumph forum and you'll soon have answers, (like in minutes, not hours or days).
Also, slip on down to the pub for some idle chatter and a pint or three.

Glad to have you on board.

Hi There SDerby,

1st. "Welcome" to the wonderful world of "LBCs" (Little British Cars) on "THEE" best site for whatever your Brit needs may be.

Hey; I was in Des Moines not too long ago on Bus. Our plant is located in Boone. Where are you located? Maybe next time in; We can get together & go for a quick spin in your TR4A! I had a `66 TR4A-IRS.

Post some pics of your car when you have a chance for all of us to "Drool" over.

Best Wishes,

Russ

Welcome sderby. You happen to be close to one of the founders of the Friends of Triumph. Joe Alexander is down there in Iowa. Look up Alexander racing.

https://www.the-vintage-racer.com/

He is also friends with Kas Kastner who is the authority on Triumphs as he work with Triumph as there head of racing here in America.

Nicer folks you'll never meet are those that hang out here on the forum.

Sderby,

Enjoy. This is a great place to post pictures and ask questions. The Triumph forum is a crowd favorite like Pei's Mandarin...

Enjoy,

Steve
