Hello All,
Looking forward to all this club has to offer. I have recently acquired a 72 TR6. My neighbor who recently passed was the original owner and wanted me to keep it going. I have owned two TR's in my 20's back in the 70's so I understand all the risk going into this again! Love it! It needs some cosmetic work such as door panels, seat covers, new dash etc.. I have upgraded to weber already. I know, I know but I spent to many weekends in my 20's tuning those Strombergs getting ready for dates.
My wife thinks I am nuts as I have a 2000 BMW convertible I have been restoring for several years as well as a 40 year old sailboat my son deserted in my back yard 20 years ago.I also have a 25 ft center consol, a 13 ft Boston whaler, 2002 BMW 1150 motor bike and several kyacks to work on. And I love to go sea fishing a lot. And to top it all off my wife went and purchased a 25 ft RV motorhome last year becuse she wants to travel a lot. So yeah, I am nuts.
