Hi, Everybody, my name is David Crowe and my wife and I live here in Cape Coral Florida since 2016. (Originally from Ohio) We have just purchased a 1976 MG Midget, Racing Green, 38,000 miles and in very good shape. This will be our first encounter into the world of British Motorcars. My wife has always wanted an MG ever since college so now's the time as were not getting any younger! Hope to attend some shows and find a local club to participate in close by. I want to further my knowledge thru this forum as it was suggested by the guy I bought the car from saying it was the best forum he knows of.
 
Welcome! great car and great place - I was in Orlando for a while and there are some wonderful clubs. Coming from Ohio you might have to get used to the idea of driving in the winter and parking in the summer because of the heat, but, it is awesome!
 
Welcome to BCF I would add summer is rain also But any day is a good day to drive a LBC will the wife drive the car also. My wife would take our TR 6 on road trips and meets I would catch up with her after work. She went to Portland OR. from Reno NV. with a girl friend in their TR 6's up and back no problems. Just saying got them drive them. Madflyer
