Hello everyone,

I’m based in Belgium and have just joined the forum.

I don’t currently own an MG myself, but British cars — and MGs in particular — have been part of my life for a long time. My father owned two MGs when I was younger, a Midget and later an MGB, and although I was never the one doing the mechanical work, I grew up around those cars.

Following my father’s passing and my mother’s recent move into assisted living, a number of long-kept items need to be cleared from storage. Among them are a few MG-related parts that belonged to him and have been sitting unused for many years.

I joined BCF because it seemed like the right place to approach people who genuinely care about these cars, and to handle this in a respectful way rather than letting such items end up discarded or misplaced.

I’m aware that forums like this rightly take care to avoid spam or misuse, so I wanted to introduce myself properly first and make sure I proceed in the right spirit and in the appropriate place.

Thank you for having me here.

Best regards,
