Welcome Tony, glad you got my note about posting and did so. I have a 67 E-Type Roadster myself and had a 67 Coupe in High School (no, Daddy wasn't rich - I worked two jobs to pay for it /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif ). Per your email I took a look at your about.com site - very cool! Hope you enjoy your time here, which I'm sure you will as you are obviously into British cars.

Merry Christmas!

Basil

Welcome, Tony! What a great profession you have, and a valuable service to the promotion of the classic car hobby. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Welcome, Tony!

I have been listing our club events on the NY Times ~Auto Event Calendar~ for the last two years.

Just looked at your site, and it looks like some great reading.

Here at British Car Forum we have literally thousands of loyal, long-term Brit-car enthusiasts. Many of us have been here for years.

Our fearless leader (Basil) has maintained a genteel discourse that is truly unique among internet forums.

BCF members run the gamut from concourse afficianadoes, daily drivers, "resto-modders" and racers (like me).
There is *tons* of technical advice avaiable here as well as people with marque-specific knowledge about history, parts-interchange, etc.

I have no financical connection with this site, but I can't say enough about how good this website is. It is without a doubt, the nicest place on the internet related to British cars.

We hope to see you here on a regular basis and we hope you will recommend this site to others!

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif Welcome Tony! I'm going to check out your website. I'm the proud caregiver to 2 Brits - Agatha A Healey (100-M) and Onslow A Jaguar (96 XJS 2+2 Convertible). Both are happy garage mates. I do believe that this is probably the best LBC site and it was responsible for Agatha's restoration. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif

Welcome, Tony, to a great place to source about anything you'd ever want for English cars... and a great group of folk who're very much "ate up" with enthusiasm for 'em.

Well, there so a bunch more of my free time.!!! Great article. Looking forward to a lot more reading. Between reading your articles and spending time on this site, I never get anything done on the spitfire. Oh, maybe part of the reason is that is is near 0*F. here at the moment.

Welcome.

Many thanks to all for your tremendous welcome and valuable insights. This is a really fun and a very useful site which I will enjoy over the coming years.
I will be working in your web address into our web site, https://www.classiccars.about.com in the coming weeks.
Best regards and wishes to all for a Happy and Prosperous New Year!
