Hey all, I'm a long-time lover of British cars and was lucky enough to restore a 1968 Mini MKII which I still own and just picked up a MKII Cortina which I know very little about!

Welcome - I've had a lot of Cortinas over the years.Probably theonly
one to have a MKI,II,& III, all at the same time.
I've sold all the cars,but still have literature,manuals,etc. that I really
should sell off.

Clean Cortina! '67? I had a '67 GT with the "high top" dash -
the MKII to have.Is yours a 1500 (non crossflow),or a 1600 (crossflow)?
 
We have had both cars, but still have the mini. Our cortina was used in Lemon's racing. We could not keep up with all the BMWs on the track even though we were getting about 160hp out of the engine. I still like the car and noticed that the Datsun 510 looks very similar to the Mkii cortina.

For sure, very 510-esque! Especially the vent on the c-pillar.
