Hello...new member here. Looking forward to benefiting from the advice, experience and wisdom that you are sharing in the forums. My project is a Daimler sp250 LHD. It's in OK shape, but I would like to make it a high quality driver (at least for now!). Regards, Todd (New Hampshire, USA).
 
Todd - welcome to BCF. There are a couple guys here with Daimler experience, so ask away. You might want to post specifics in the Other British Cars forum here.

Hey Dart, great looking SP250! My SP was manufactured in late 1961, a "B" spec. Its chassis # 100987 and body 737-1623. I would welcome anything you could add to its history or info. I've also been in touch with the folks that maintain the PasSPort registry and will get it added there (my SP was previously unknown to them). Car is in the shop for a first round of service now. Will try to get some pictures up when it comes back.
 
I purchased a SP250 about 2 months ago and am doing a complete frame off resto. I am new to the world of Darts, but not to British cars as I have a couple of Jensen Interceptors (a '75 convertible and 1 of 49 '76 Coupe') , a '65 Sunbeam Tiger and a 50 MGTD and now a B Spec SP250. Hope we can share pictures and advice as we get through our rebuilds simultaneouly and get advice from Mr. Dart. (Dart, I read all 22 pages of your resto thread and am counting on you ;-) .

Will be my pleasure to offer all the help I can. We should take our conversations to the"Other Brit" forum for long term contact; easier to get some other Dart owners to jump-in from there. There is a North American Daimler club, dlocna.org, and while the website is still being developed you can send emails to officers, including membership chair. Pres. of club has salvaged and rebuilt a number of Darts, and has a modest supply of used parts. Lets keep in touch. Oh, what is your vin/chassis # Josh?
 
Sorry I have not responded earlier, but I am traveling for a few weeks. The car is chassis number is 101012 -Body number is 737-1652 (I believe it was once in Joe Dockmans stable). It has wire wheels that originally came with the car but unfortunately the splines are no good and therefore I will be looking for new wire wheels. It is a “B” spec car and I checked with Laurence with the Daimler club in GB and found that the car has it's original engine (don't have the number with me).

Let's move the conversation over to "other British" forum...bit will also do an introduction myself.
