/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif Just bought a 72 TR6, my 4th, also have owned a TR7 and a GT6+ in my 49 years. My other 6's were blessed with good condition dash tops, but not this one. What is the easiest way to remove the dash top material, and what is the recommended adhesive for the new top? Thanks

First welcome to the club. Now, the windshield frame has to be removed in order to put the dash top on. I used 3M's Adhesive spray on mine. I sprayed both halfs and after it had flashed I put the dash top and and pressed down on it everywhere to make it it made good contact. Hope this helps.
Good Luck /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

Well there is no "easy way" to change the upper dash pad correctly.
The windshield frame needs to be removed like jerrybny said, and the dash panal needs to be dropped away from the cowel. that involves removing all the gauges, the glovebox, and the wood dash panal.
It's a bit involved.
3M trim adhesive is a good glue to use

First, welcome to the BCF, you will find in no time that it is great!

Wish I could help with the dash pad but it is one of my blessings, I have never had any reason to repair one. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
