I've been lurking on the forum for a week or so and I'm about to take the plunge! I've located a Bugeye that's in need of a lot of TLC and I'm hoping that I'm up to the task. I'm buying the car sight unseen and having it shipped to Tuscaloosa...the pictures don't look too bad and I have a few more coming.

My last British car was a 74 TR6 in the mid 70s and I had a TR3 and TR4A in the late 60s/early 70s. I have very fond memories of those cars and I hope I'm not being delusional. I look forward to being part of this forum and will post pictures as soon as I get the car. Rut

Welcome, Rut -

You won't be the first to buy sight unseen. I did that with my TR8, and it has worked out fine.

Forum moderator, Tony Barnhill, is near Huntsville; will be a good source of info and parts. And you'll soon get to know the whole crowd on the Spridget Forum - post a note and pictures over there.

Thanks for the warm welcome...Rut works just fine! I'm trying to figure out how to post pictures. WDE!

Welcome Rut! Wish I could help you with the picture post thing as I have some I'd like to post myself. These guys here though are super pros at all that stuff and can for sure dial you in. Buying sight unseen seems to be the norm for LBC's I just bought a Jensen- Healey off E-bay that way, except for the posted pics of course. Again Welcome and Good Luck with the Bug Eye

Welcome aboard Rut. Quite a few Bugeye owners here, you'll find lots of assistance as you need it.

Welcome to you and your Bugeye!
