Indeed! Ever since I watched Richard Cox use two (2) hammers on his MKIII (original owner, purchased in London en route back to the USA from Vietnam__I've mentioned his story here before...) I took heed! For the record, his original K/Os were not deformed in any way, though by that time, the chrome was about thirty (30) years old.Talk about overkill!
What is wrong with the rawhide and copper hammer. It works perfectly.
