TR4/4A New interior for TR4

I had been looking around for a new interior (carpet, panels, seats, etc) for my TR4, and came across these guys in Vancouver, Heritage Interiors and Trim. They brag about having a better product then the competition. I had them put together a quote for me to the tune of $2000Cdn. I was surprised to find firstly, they would only start the order when they recieved a cheque for $1000 (no credit card option). Secondly, it would take them six weeks. Finally, they would not ship it for free. I would have thought they'd ship a $2000 order for free. I am now not too happy with these guys. That being said, has anyone dealt with them or have any other suggestions for a supplier of good interiors for my TR4?

...........Thanks, Alex

Alex, I suggest you call Fred MacEachern at British Auto Sport in Mississauga, 905 678 6479.
I recently bought a very good carpet set from him, he is local so there is no shipping problem, and I am sure he will be more accomodating, a very good guy!
Simon.

I second that suggestion to call Fred. The other places in Canada are Chris Hollum in Montreal (514) 639-4639 and Len Drake in Kelowna (250) 763-0883 https://www.drakesbritishmotors.com/main.shtml
If you buy out of province but in Canada you don't pay PST and with such an expensive item that saving may be more then the shipping cost.

MY two cents is take it to a local upholstrey shop and have it done. That way you know what you are getting and everything matches. No surprises.
