T-Series New home for an old TD

PD - sounds like you've got a *lot* of TD experience. I'll PM my address.

Say, what treatment do you use on the interior leather upholstery (seats and doors). Just a damp cloth? or saddle soap, or things like Meguiar's? I want to keep my original leather soft and strong. It's in great condition now, even after 60+ years.

Thanks.
Tom M.

Tom, as mentioned on another forum, try Lexol, not that expensive but works very well. Like I said before, I used it on the T Bird for years and the seats looked like new when I sold the car. PJ

Thanks Paul. What year Thunderbird did you have? My favorite was the mid-50s two-seater with removable hard top:

I've used Lexol and Mother's leather cleaner and conditioner. I was told the seats are kangaroo hide. At the time, they were better quality than the Jaguar XK 120. Not all that comfortable on a long trip, but then what LBC is?

I imagine they would be pretty bouncy then.

Yeah, but the built-in map pockets are quite roomy.

Yeah, but for some reason the pockets keep asking for food ... so I give them one map a day.

Wow!
so Tom, what's the story?
Why only 36965 on the od?
(or is it 100,000 + 36965?)
what about the PO?
not to many of us could keep a car in a time capsule like that.
